- Substantially sized cross with milgrain scroll work at each cardinal point and deeply engraved with a meandering Greek key motif
- Centering round cut sapphire, bezel set in a cross formation, weighing in total approximately 3.08 carats
- Well-matched and very dark greenish-blue in color
- Unscrews at East, West, and South points; opens on a hinge to reveal cavity for reliquary
- Completed by a coiled bale
- Tested as 14 karat gold
